I am happy to announce our first Wine Tasting to be held on 20 April Friday at 6:45 in the AA Bar. It shall be a mix of French wines including some good vintages and high scored ones:

1. 2009 Chateau Pellebouc, Bordeaux Superieur

2. 2000 Domaine Louis Latour Corton Grand Cru, Burgundy. Average score 88.

3. 2006 Chateau Larcis Ducasse, St. Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux. RP 91, JR 17.

4. 2009 Clos De L’Oratorie, St. Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux. RP 93, JR 17.

5. 2005 Chateau Monbousquet, St. Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux. RP 94 - 95

As usual, it is free for Wine Club members and $100 for ordinary members and guests. Please sign up early as places are limited.

I also take this opportunity to welcome new members of the Fine Wine Club and thank the old members who renewed their membership. Apart from free wine tastings, members also get 10% discounts for wine dinners and subscriptions to good value wines occasionally. It will be well worth your $200 to join the Club!
