Christie's, the world's leading art business, founded in 1766 by James Christie, Christie's has since conducted the greatest and most celebrated auctions through the centuries providing a popular showcase for the unique and the beautiful. Christie’s has a global presence with 53 offices in 32 countries and 12 salerooms around the major cities around the world. HKUAA Green and Culture Group will organize a preview of Christie's Hong Kong Autumn Auctions 2014 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from Nov 20-26, 2014.

Our exclusive guided tour will lead you to appreciate valuable Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art which will be auctioned this time. Mr. Marcello Kwan, Associate Specialist in Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art in Christie's, will illustrate in details avant-garde artwork to you. He will shed light on masterpieces by Affandi (阿凡迪), Le Pho (黎譜), San Yu (常玉), Zao Wouki (趙無極) and Zhang Xiaogang (張曉剛). It is a precious opportunity to have Mr. Kwan to guide us to appreciate the essential elements of these remarkable works of art.

After the guided tour, you are welcome to stay behind to attend the public viewing until 6:00 p.m. to have a glimpse of a spectacular array of rare and exceptional collecting treasures ranging from Chinese paintings, ceramics and works of art, to iconic works by modern masters and cutting-edge contemporary artists throughout Asia, as well as fine wine, magnificent jewellery and important watches.
