HKUAA CHOIR 2014 Spring Season

HKUAA  CHOIR  2014  Spring Season

Dear alumni member,

The time has come to join the new season for HKUAA CHOIR , following the two very successful "inaugural" Spring Season as well as the Christmas Season of 2013!   We shall be starting our Spring Season in January while we've almost completed all four of our Christmas performances at Times Square, Alumni clubhouse, IFC  and The Landmark in December!

The repertoire for Spring will be delightful and lively with songs from well-known musicals such as "My Fair Lady", "West Side Story", "Phantom of the Opera", "Mama Mia" plus songs in Cantonese...all of which will be both refreshing and renewing to singers and audience alike!

Dr. Michael Ryan continues to be our enthusiastic and energetic Music Director* (see footnote 1) who will be directing at all our rehearsals and performances.  Dr. Ryan is assisted by Mr. Eric Wong as Assistant Music Director* (see footnote 2) is a well-known HK composer of Cantonese songs.  He will introduce into the Spring Programme some of his own works like he did at this Christmas Season.

Further attractions include performances at Sheung Wan Civic Centre on Saturday April 26  and the Alumni Gala Dinner at the ballroom of the HK Football Club on Saturday May 3, 2014.
