                              BRAHMS LIEBESLIEDER WALTZES & Other Choral Favourites

HKUAA CHOIR will present in Spring 2020 another round of light-hearted music by German composer Johannes Brahms in a matinee show under the leadership of our founding music director Dr. Michael Ryan!

Please find in the following the details: 

REHEARSAL VENUE:  Kindly take note that HKUAA clubhouse can only be used as our rehearsal venue in January 2020 due to its renovation starting the month after! The choir will rehearse in LCSD Sheung Wan’s rehearsal room in the following 10 rehearsals until our concert in April.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE :  3 - 5 PM SATURDAYS

January   11  First rehearsal at 中國基督教播道會 靈泉堂 (灣仔)*  (Audition of newcomers)
              18  Second rehearsal at 中國基督教播道會 靈泉堂 (灣仔)*
February  8     15    22    29   at LCSD SHEUNG WAN
March      7     14    21    28    at LCSD SHEUNG WAN
April        18    25    at LCSD SHEUNG WAN

Total number of rehearsals : 12

PERFORMANCE DAY: April 26, 2020  Sunday  3 - 6 pm. Matinee show at The Congregational Church of China (CCC), 6/F concert hall (Leighton Road, Causeway Bay, HK)

Subscription Fee of the Spring Season : $1080  (50% discount for HKU graduates of first degree holders from 2015)

Upon receipt of the Convenor’s Welcome Letter, please send in your CHEQUE payment (in favor of HKUAA) immediately; otherwise no placement would be reserved for you if full payment has not been received!

For new applicants, please take your audition first with Dr. Ryan on the First Rehearsal, thank you!

Charge on song book “ENCORES FOR CHOIRS” to be confirmed.  (Previous choir members might already have this blue book, kindly check!)
