| News HKUAA CHOIR’s Spring Season Recruitment
Dear alumni member,
RE: SPRING CONCERT AT HKAPA AMPHITHEATRE
Christmas greetings to you all! HKUAA CHOIR is now gearing up for 2015’s major event - MOZART REQUIEM to be presented by HKUAA CHOIR with The Hong Kong Medical Association Orchestra (HKMAO) on MARCH 29, 2015 (Sunday) at The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA) at the Amphitheatre, a state-of-the-art extension. With this major event in mind, the choir is now calling for SINGERS amongst our 27,000 alumni members, many of whom are current choir members. However, the choir needs more singers especially MEN singers! Details are as follows : Rehearsal dates : 2015 Jan 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 Saturdays 3-5pm Feb 7, 14, 28 Mar 7, 14, 21, 28 TWO EXTRA rehearsals with HKMAO (Wednesday night at HKMAO studio, to be advised) Total 14 rehearsals in 12 weeks
Subscription fee : $980 per person (New graduates from 2010 will enjoy 50% discount)

*** Returning choir members please send VIA EMAIL their name, email address and phone number to HKUAA OFFICE staff at heyna.wong@hkuaa.org.hk or sharon.lam@hkuaa.org.hk. Upon receipt of a Confirmation Letter from hkuaa choir’s Convenor, you are requested to make immediate payment of the Subscription fee. Choir membership is strictly at the discretion of our Music Director Dr. Michael Ryan with considerations of punctuality, number of absence in the previous season and performance participation. (DEADLINE of application - December 17, 2014)
*** NEW APPLICANTS will take their AUDITION on Jan 3, 2015 i.e. First Rehearsal of Spring Season. Upon receipt of a Confirmation Letter from hkuaa choir’s Convenor, you are requested to make immediate payment of the subscription fee. Placement will NOT be reserved unless payment of the subscription has been made.
