Summary:
Do you enjoy fine arts and want to exchange your thoughts and ideas with people who share the same interest and passion? Here comes the opportunity! HKUAA Green and Culture Group is organizing our first-ever Fine Arts Gathering in January 2013 to bring together art-loving alumni under one roof.
During the event, Mr. Marcello Kwan, Associate Specialist in Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art at Christie’s, and also our speaker of the previous three guided tours, will discuss the Eastern and Western fusion in the 20th Century and Contemporary Art. After his speech, participants are free to mingle and chat with fellow art aficionados over a drink, and even discuss the possibility of forming an art self-study group yourself.
This Fine Arts Gathering is free of charge for those participants who have taken part in one of our Christie's guided tours since 2010 and the ‘HKU100 Project: A Montage of HKU Memories’ freestyle painting activities organized in November 2011. These participants can register by, at our online enrollment system, selecting ‘Bank Deposit’ as the payment method and uploading our event confirmation email for the guided tours / HKU100 event. HKUAA reserves the right to decide if the registrant is eligible for free participation in the Fine Arts Gathering.

All HKU Alumni, HKU Students and their personal friends are welcome to join this event. You can make one lump sum payment if you enroll with your friend(s). Please advise the name(s), email and mobile phone number.
Please note that payment is non-refundable. We will charge you only if has place(s) for you. However, you will NOT be charged when the event is fill or/and no place(s) for you. We will advise whether you get place(s) in due course.
