HKUAA Team @ARTathon – HKU Family Day

We invite you to join us, the HKUAA Team, in celebrating the 111^th Anniversary of HKU at the fun-filled HKU Family Day “ARTathon”. There will be games booths, building a HKU Main Building installation with books donated by alumni, ceremony and many more.

3 Simple steps to join the HKUAA Team at ARTathon:

1.  Register NOW at https://hku111artathon.ievent.hk/
2.  Select “Hong Kong University Alumni Association (HKUAA)” on the Form for a chance to win an AWARD.
3.  Show up on 14 Jan 2023, Saturday.

Event Details:

Date:       14 Jan 2023 (Sat)

Place:      Great Lawn, West Kowloon Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District

Time:       2:00 – 5:00pm

                2:00pm    Games booths open to all

                2:30pm    Group Photo of HKUAA Team       

                                (Look for HKUAA Exco members with a big HKUAA banner)

                3:00pm    ARTathon Ceremony starts

                5:00pm    ARTathon ends

Books* Donation

A key activity at ARTathon is co-creating a Main Building installation at the Great Lawn with books. You can be part of it by donating books you want giveaway and recycle. All the books will be donated to NGOs after the event.

Books Collection
1.  On-campus from now till 11 Jan 2023
         ✔ On-campus at G/F, Main Library & G/F, Chi Wah Learning Commons
       ✔ Entrance, Hung Hing Ying Building (map opposite to Main Building, 9:30am – 6:30pm, open except Sundays and Public Holidays)     

2.  On-site at ARTathon
       ✔   Bring the books along on 14 Jan 2023

*Books donated should be in good condition. Textbooks and magazines not accepted.
