Late comer will not be waited.) Period of workshop cum visit:9:30 am- 12:00 noon Visit Venue:Green Hub (綠匯學苑 - 舊大埔警署) 綠匯學苑將舊大埔警署歷史建築群，轉化為對香港及區域具影響力的地標，宣傳永續生活及綜合保育。 舊大埔警署建於1899年，屬一級歷史建築。2010年，嘉道理農場暨植物園獲香港特別行政區政府選定為合作伙伴，藉第二期「活化歷史建築伙伴計劃」（簡稱「活化計劃」）將該歷史建築群活化成綠匯學苑，以推廣永續生活。 Location: 大埔運頭角里11號 Google Map Location:https://goo.gl/maps/H7iFxUacUkQ2 Fee: $180 per head (the fee includes charge for a light vegetarian meal) No of participants: 20 at max (First-come first served) Medium of Instruction: Cantonese supplemented with English Workshop Details cum Visit: 工作坊以珍惜食物為主題，讓參加者透過把食材從農田送到餐桌、惜食體驗及廚餘處理等經歷，領悟個人與社會及大地的聯繫。綠匯學苑把舊大埔警署原有的食堂大樓，活化為慧食堂宣揚低碳飲食文化。工作坊的惜食環節於慧食堂進行。 工作坊中，參加者會到綠匯學苑的廚房菜園親手採收食材，一同製作低碳素食、共進輕餐及廚餘處理，並以綠匯學苑導賞為活動的總結。除了實用的健康低碳飲食方法，參加者還會明白低碳生活是既愉快又人人負擔得來的生活模式。 Deadline for Enrolment: 30 April 2018 (Monday) If you, as a HKUAA member, together with your friends or relatives at the age of 8 or above, are interested in this event, please fill in the relevant information during your registration by CLICKING THE BUTTON OF “Register Now” and then make payment through PayPal System – Visa/Master Credit Card acceptable under PayPal) All successful applicants will be confirmed and notified by email around 3 days (2 May 2018 - Wed) before the event day of 5 May 2018 (Sat Morning).
