Dear Member,

You are cordially invited to join us in the Spring Challenge, the first event of the 2010 HKUAA Golf Tournament, to be held on Wednesday, 3^rd March 2010. 

Date:                      Wednesday, 3^rd March 2010

Venue:                   South Course, Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course

Tee-off Time:        9 am

Score:                    New New Peoria

Prize:                      Gross Champion, Net Champion, 1^st runner-up, 2^nd runner-up, Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin

Tee off:                  Men – White Tee   Ladies – Red Tee

Entry fee:               HK$890 Per PAX

-          1 x 18 holes green fee, locker, ferry and golf cart

-          1 buffet lunch

-          Prizes and lucky draw

Scoring System:

The net champion will be awarded to the player scored the lowest net score determined by the New New Peoria Scoring System, in which the 12 holes used in the system to calculate the handicap index will be randomly drawn during the prize presentation ceremony.

Players will earn points according to their final position which will be used to determine the Gross/ Net Champion of the 2010 HKUAA Golf Tournament.

Count back:

In the event of a tie, the champion shall be decided by matching scorecards as follows:

Last 9 Holes                                         Full Handicap

Last 6 Holes                                         Full Handicap

Last 3 holes                                          Full Handicap

Last Hole                               Full handicap

Hole to hole from 18^th hole                                Full handicap

In the unlikely event that this system does not produce a winner, a tie will be declared. 

If the same player wins the gross and net champion, he/she will become the gross champion only.

Members who wish to participate in competition can send a reply email to Ms Cherrie (cherrie@hkuaa.org.hk). Members who do not wish to participate in competition can sign up just for leisure play. Confirmation of entry will be given on first-come-first-served basis (after payment is made).  More detail information will be circulated upon confirmation.
