INFINITE VARIETY AT CHRISTMAS!

Dear alumni member,

A RECRUITMENT OF CHOIR MEMBERS FOR 2018 FALL SEASON

After the Messiah Charity Concert, HKUAA CHOIR is heading towards our next challenge - Felix Mendelssohn's oratorio, "O Come Let Us Sing" & " Christus, an Unfinished Oratorio" to be performed in April 2019. Like Messiah, this fall we will start working on a few selections from Mendelssohn while practicing on our Christmas songs from John Rutter! Interested?

Our Music Director, Dr. Michael Ryan, will continue to lead HKUAA Choir from strength to strength this Season with lovely Christmas melodies from John Rutter together with traditional festive songs!

Venue: City Hall Theatre
Date: December 11, 2018 (Tuesday evening)

Rehearsal Schedule of Fall Season (Saturdays):
Sept 8 First rehearsal & Audition of newcomers (3-5pm at HKUAA clubhouse)
       15 22 29
Oct   6  13  20  27
Nov  3 (NO rehearsal due to HKUAA event)
       10  17  24
Dec  1  8 (last rehearsal of the Fall Season)
Performance on December 11, 2018 (Tuesday)

For current choir members, please make payment of $1080 by crossed cheque in favor of HKUAA together with your application.
CURRENT MEMBERS please take note: Dr. Ryan will re-audition all sopranos on Sept 15 or second rehearsal of the season as mentioned and agreed at our 2018 AGM. Altos to have re-audition on Sept 22 or third rehearsal. And MEN signers on Sept 19 or fourth rehearsal. THANK YOU!

For newcomers, DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT until you have been accepted by Dr. Ryan after your audition on Sept 8!
