[「翠屏河導賞團」
渠務署和「綠色力量」一起合辦「人生幾『河』－「翠屏河導賞團」
內容：認識渠務署的活化翠屏河計劃；了解活化工程與保育和社會關係；探索河流生態
翠屏河（前稱觀塘明渠或敬業街明渠）位於九龍觀塘區，其歷史發展見證了香港從山溪農村、工業重鎮到現代「河畔城市」的轉變軌跡。
歷史發展階段
- 1950年代以前：天然彎曲小溪
翠屏河的前身是一條天然的彎曲小溪。水源起源於新界西貢區大上托附近的山谷，流經秀茂坪、藍田及馬游塘一帶，最後注入維多利亞港。當時周邊多為倚山的農田與荒地。
- 1950至1960年代：人工改動與明渠化
隨著政府於1955年開始在官塘灣填海發展香港首個衛星城市與工業區，為了配合都市發展並提升防洪能力，政府將該天然河道進行人為改動。河床及河岸被混凝土覆蓋，由觀塘游泳池一帶開始被修築成一條長約一公里的人工露天明渠，稱為觀塘明渠。
- 1970至2000年代：工業污染與「臭渠」時期
隨著觀塘工業區蓬勃發展，明渠毗鄰大量工業大廈。由於過往工廈長期非法或不當排放污水與污染物，導致明渠水質嚴重惡化、淤泥堆積，附近一帶經常散發強烈惡臭，成為老街坊口中的都市「臭渠」。
- 2010年代至今：活化轉型為「翠屏河」
為配合「起動九龍東」政策，發展局於2012年倡議將這條以防洪為主的明渠，以「河畔城市」的概念進行蛻變。渠務署在2020年正式展開「活化翠屏河計劃」。工程在不減低排洪能力的前提下，挖深部分河床、引入智能水閘、設置全港首個明渠人工浮島及生態裝置，並於近年全面竣工開放，成為一個結合生態、景觀與社區聯繫的綠洲空間。

First-come first served basis until the quota of 25 is achieved. (Each HKUAA member is eligible to apply for 4 quota at max together with Friends/Family at the age of 15 or above)

$32 per head including (1) Fee for visit venue is free of charge & (2) Fee for admin costs: $32

Note: If you, as a HKUAA member, together with your friends or relatives at the age of 15 or above (4 quota at maximum), are interested in this event, please make registration first. Only Shortlisted participants will be notified about the registration status (place offered first by email, and then followed by place confirmation email after payment receipt sent).
Note: No visit fee will be refunded as the visit itself is FREE OF CHARGE while the admin and PayPal costs involved will be refunded only when the visit is cancelled. NO REFUND after payment will be entertained.

Offer Notification Email
|
Only the shortlisted applicants (e.g., first 25 applicants or those on waiting list later on) will be notified by HKUAA place offer notification email for payment (either by receipts of HSBC PayMe or bank deposit).
Late or no payment after place offer notification email will lead to withdrawal of the places automatically after payment deadline is reached.
Places will be assigned based on the time the application is made with full information and right method.

Place Confirmation Email
|
Only applicants with full payment receipt sent after receiving place offer notification email will be followed by formal place confirmation email well before the date of visit.
成功報名者將會經由Place Confirmation Email確認
- HKUAA will not inform those unsuccessful applicants without any place offer or place confirmation later on by any forms.
- NO walk-in visit on the day is allowed.

1. 參與者及同行15歲以上親友同意接受是次戶外活動，並清楚活動帶有一定之危險性。同時明白本人的健康狀況良好，適宜參加是次活動。如在活動期間發生意外而導致任何傷亡，參與者願意承擔責任，而不會追究香港大學校友會。
2. 參與者亦願意服從本會工作人員一切規則及安排。了解是次戶外活動是在戶外進行，對體能有一定要求。活動有機會在不同的天氣下進行，需要行走一定預計的路程。在活動進行期間，參與者絕對不能服用未經醫生認可的藥物，嚴禁吸煙、飲酒或使用任何興奮劑或鎮定劑。
3. 參與者及同行15歲以上親友同意授權香港大學校友會在活動進行期間如遇緊急的情況下，為參與者安排送院和接受治療，也明白到活動在戶外進行，對體能上都會有一定的考驗。
Notice to Visitors from Visit Organizer
l The Officer will conduct a guided tour in Cantonese on the day of visit. Officer has the authority to cease the visit if anyone fails to observe the rule of visit.
l The visit will be cancelled under adverse weather condition. This visit will be cancelled with no rescheduled arrangement. No parking arrangement is available nearby.
Other Instructions from the Organizer for the Visit
備註：
導賞活動時間長約一個半小時。
- 導賞活動會到戶外進行講解，建議參加者穿淺色衣服、運動鞋、帶備帽子、太陽傘、防曬及防蚊用品，以及足夠的飲用水。
- 若參觀活動開始前3小時3號或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號、或紅╱黑色暴雨警告信號仍然生效，活動將會取消。
- 活動期間，若遇上惡劣天氣警告生效，包括雷暴警告、暴雨警告、3號或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號，原定之戶外活動可能會被更改或取消。
- 請所有參觀人士保持警惕及良好的個人衞生。
- 參觀期間切勿吸煙或進食。請保持場地清潔，切勿亂拋垃圾或隨地吐痰。
- 參觀期間如感到不適或需要協助，請即通知隨行職員。
