Health Promotion Talk

Hong Kong University Alumni Association

Health Promotion Talk (in Cantonese)

Because of the tremendous workload and stress, most of the Hong Kong people work in office for long time and inevitably adopt a sedentary lifestyle.  These factors together with poor posture lead to high prevalence of musculoskeletal problems like muscle cramp or joints pain among Hong Kong people.  Though some people have noticed this phenomenon and exercised regularly, improper techniques or warm-up may result in further damage to their bodies.  In this talk, Dr. Kris Wong, who is our alumnus and a senior lecturer in IVE, will cover a series of hot topics as shown below:

1.      Common Musculoskeletal Disorders in Working Place, such as Neck & Beck pain, Knee pain, etc.

2.      Common Sports Injuries among Golf Players.

3.      Latest Evidence-Based Interventions and Useful Preventive Measures
