Activities |
Guided outdoor field trip led by experts from WWF to explore the floating mangrove Deep Bay mudflat and bird hide with 5 hours of walking. You can photograph flock of migratory birds including Black-faced Spoonbill (黑臉琵鷺), walk on the longest boardwalk (浮橋) in Mai Po as well as appreciate various kinds of wildlife on the Deep Bay mudflat (泥灘). |

Summary:
HKUAA Green and Culture Group is organizing an educational exclusive visit to WWF Mai Po Nature Reserve at Yuen Long with limited entry. Mai Po at January is a birdwatcher’s paradise as thousands of migratory birds would come to Hong Kong. During the outdoor field trip guided by experts from WWF, participants will have a chance to look closely on some globally endangered bird species such as Saunders’ Gull (黑嘴鷗) and appreciate the biodiversity of mangrove as well develop a strong sense of environmental conservation.
Our tour is well-designed to avoid exhausting hiking or climbing allow those who love observing birds and photography to take a moment to enjoy themselves in the beauty of nature. You will be amazed by how close you can get to the flying birds on the floating bird hide.
Let's grasp this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to catch a glimpse of globally endangered bird species!
