| Events *FULL* HKUAA Community Services – Spring Charity Barefoot Walk for Children 新春同樂赤腳行 HKUAA Community Services Team will join the World Vision to walk for the children in Sri Lanka on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year with your family or friends. Participants are strongly encouraged to go barefoot to experience the lives of impoverished children. A carnival with meaningful stall games will follow. Date: 16 Feb 2013 (Sat) Time: 9:00am -1:00pm Venue: Nine Golf Course Route, Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club Gathering Point: Free shuttle bus service between the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club and Tseung Kwan O/ Hang Hau MTR stations will be provided. Capacity: 50 Cost: A donation of minimum HK$200 to the World Vision is required. For donation amount of HK$100 or above are tax deductible with an official receipt. Please be reminded to input your sponsors’ names (in BLOCK letters as per HKID card) and their sponsorship amounts on the registration form. Please input every FIVE sponsors’ details of sponsorship on a separate registration form. For the participants who made the donation, please enter the donation amount in the box of ‘Donation from Participant’ on the registration form. *Your friends, family members and childrenare also welcome. Children aged 12 or below must be accompanied by parents or guardians.* Programme Details:Approximately 4km long and takes about 1.5 hours to finish. Participants are strongly encouraged to go barefoot to experience the lives of impoverished children.
